ABOUT ME
Benita Rose is currently the Director of Music Ministries at Avon Congregational Church in Avon, Connecticut. She directs the Gallery Singers (adult singning group), and Celebration Ringers (adult handbells), as well as the ACC Youth Band. She is currently the pianist of the Rose-Gibbs Duo, which she does with her husband, Tony Gibbs, saxophonist. Together, the Rose-Gibbs Duo won 3rd prize in the professional division of the 2008 International Chamber Music and Ensembles Competition in Boston, Massachusetts. Benita also runs the Rose Piano Studio in Avon, Connecticut.
